Mr. Anh Nguyen (CPA, MBA), Managing cum Tax Partner

Anh, founder of DCPA, has spent over 22 years performing audit and assurance services. He had worked for Ernst & Young Vietnam and Deloitte Vietnam, before founding DCPA.

He was in charge of a diverse client portfolio relating to NGOs and ILOs, projects funded by World Bank (WB), Asia Development Bank (ADB), Swedish International Development Agency (SIDA), International Women’s Development Agency (IWDA), Bread for the World, etc. He also served a wide range of multinationals such as Canon, Vietnam Float Glass, Sunway Ha Tay, Sunway Ocean, Diethelm Travel, and leading state-owned enterprises like Petro Vietnam and its major subsidiaries.

Tuan Anh holds a Vietnamese CPA, an M.B.A. granted by Paris Chamber of Commercial and Industry, and a B.Sc in Accounting from the National Econonics University, Hanoi.

Mr. Duong Nguyen (CPA), Partner – Audit & Assurance

Duong, co-founder of DCPA, has spent 21 years in audit, including 5 years with Deloitte Vietnam, where he worked with numerous foreign-invested enterprises (FIEs), state-owned enterprises (SOEs), and NGO projects in Vietnam.

He was also involved in providing the services of accounting, management consulting as a team leader for many multinationals. Key clients he served include Vietnam Deawoo Motor, LG Vina, Chinfon Haiphong Cement, Daewoo Hanel Electronics, Metropole Hotel, Vietcombank Tower, Petro Vietnam, Electricity Vietnam (EVN).

Duong holds a Vietnamese CPA, and a B.Sc in Accounting from the National Econonics University, Hanoi.

Mr. Truong Tran (MBA), Partner – Business & Transaction Advisory

Truong has accumulated 15 years’ experience in corporate finance and business consulting, notably M&A advisory and market intelligence in Vietnam.

Before joining DCPA in 2012, Truong worked as a Manager at Openasia Consulting, where he advised several European MNCs on market studies and market entry strategies including also partner identification and business matching. More previously, as an Investment Manager for Saigon Capital, Truong was responsible for sourcing and executing private equity investments with SMEs and working with global investors to update on the investments. Before that, he worked for M&A International Inc. and Grant Thornton (Vietnam) – among the world’s leading accounting and consulting firms, where he built valuable experience in capital raising, business valuation, and particularly M&A international best practices.

Truong holds an M.B.A in Finance from Brussels School of Economics and Management and a B.A. in International Business from Foreign Trade University (Vietnam). .

Mr. Tra Doan (CPA), Partner – Accounting & Business Support

Tra has spent 13 years in audit & accounting, including 8 years with BDO Vietnam, the Vietnamese member firm of one of the six largest global accounting alliances.

Tra has worked intensively, as a team leader or an auditor-in-charge, with high profile clients including big foreign-owned companies, multinational groups, state-owned corporations, listed companies such as Obayashi Vietnam, Yokohama Tyre Vietnam, Stickley International, Bourbon Tay Ninh JSC, CP Vina Group, TTF Group (listed on HOSE) etc.

Tra holds a Vietnamese CPA, and a B.Sc in Audit and Accounting from the Ho Chi Minh City  Economics University (UEH). 

Ms. Mai Tran (CPA), Senior Manager – Audit & Assurance

Mai has spent nearly 10 years in audit including 6 years with AASC, a leading local audit firm in Vietnam. She has solid exposure to such sectors as trading, manufacturing, construction, telecommunication, hospitality and tourism, etc. and has worked with clients of various ownership types (state-owned, FDI, local private). Besides working as an auditor, Mai has also worked as a tax accountant, receivable accountant and bank accountant.

Mai holds a Vietnamese CPA, and a B.Sc in Banking from the National Economics University, Hanoi.

Ms. Ha Nguyen (CPA, VTCA), Senior Manager – Tax Advisory

Ha has accumluated over 13 years in audit, tax, and accounting in both internaitional and local work environments. Before joining DCPA in 2021, she had spent 2 years as an Assistant Manager at KPMG Vietnam and built solid expertise in accounting and tax. Ha has also gained diverse industry knowledge, having worked with clients accross various industries and nationalities. She is highly accredited for her diligence and work quality.

Ha holds a Vietnamese CPA and VTCA (member of Vietnam Tax Consultants’ Association), and a B.Sc in Audit and Accounting from Thai Nguyen University.

Mr. Hoang Dau (MSc), Manager – Business & Transaction Advisory

Hoang has 6 years’ valuable experience in Business Analytics (notably in Tech Startups), Venture Valuation, Business Model, Market Research, Strategic Planning, and Financial Modeling.

He worked at an American venture capital firm, where he was to work with several local tech start-up  (app development) ventures such as Kidzbot (Children Education), Airhub (Flight ticket services), Menus (Restaurant services). Previously Hoang gained meaningful experience in entities setup and numernous other supports for foreign clients during his tenure a local boutique consulting firm.

Hoang holds an M.Sc in Investments from Birmingham University (UK), and a B.Sc in Finance and Banking from the Ho Chi Minh City Marketing-Finance University.

Ms. Duong Thuan (CPA, MSc), Audit Manager

Thuan was a former auditor of AASC for over 6 years and has built strong audit expertise with different corporate segments in diverse business sectors. Plus, Thuan has built valuable experience in developing accounting and internal control systems for client corporations. She also worked as an internal control executive at Vietinbank Gold and Jewelry, a subsidiary of Vietinbank, a leading State-run commercial bank in Vietnam.

Thuan is a holder of Vietnamese CPA, and has graduated from the Academy of Finance (Hanoi) with a B.Sc and an M.Sc in Accounting.

Ms. An Nguyen (CPA), Senior Manager – Accounting & Business Support

An possesses an excellent background in audit, accounting and finance. She has spent several years in international professional environment. Before joining DCPA, she has worked for Deloitte and RSM. An is highly experienced as management accountant when working for Tan Hiep Phat Beverage Group and financial analyst with DKSH. An is an accomplisher at work.

An is a holder of Vietnamese CPA, and has graduated from Ho Chi Minh City Economics University (UEH) with a B.Sc in Audit & Accounting, and an M.Sc in Finance.
